A Tribute To Black Rice [Video]

Posted on October 01, 2014 by Forbidden Foods

Our appreciation for black rice runs deep. Its mysterious heritage. Its deep purple hues. The sound of gentle rainfall it makes when you pour a fresh parcel of rice into a stainless steel pot. The seperation and engulfing process of water being poured over the rice. These are moments many take for granted, but we live and breathe them.

To showcase our feelings we've created a short tribute to this heirloom black rice grain. For the best experience put your headphones in, turn it up and watch in full screen, trust us, it's worth it. Enjoy!

All this would not of been possible with out the artistry of Paris Thomson of SIRAP who was able to execute our thoughts visually. Thank you!
